The Cornwall Bakery in Callington is part of Samworth Brothers a family-owned business proudly creating and making quality food for over 125 years. It is also the proud home of the well-known brand Ginsters. The Cornwall Bakery specialises in producing a wide variety of high-quality pies, pasties, slices, and rolls for a number of well-known brands and retail customers.
With a team of nearly 1,000 permanent employees, we offer diverse career opportunities spanning engineering, logistics, quality assurance, health and safety, HR, product development, operations, commercial to name but a few. Our on- site purpose-built food testing laboratory , Westward Laboratories, provides trusted and industry-leading knowledge and food safety expertise.
The Callington site also hosts all Shared Services (finance and IT) for the Samworth Group. At the core of our business are our dedicated people and an unwavering commitment to quality. We place strong emphasis on skill-building and career progression, which are integral to our success.
