Teagle

Founded in 1943 Teagle Machinery is a manufacturer of innovative agricultural machinery, best known and market leader for their extensive range of Bale Processors for livestock husbandry in agriculture. Other product lines include Rear Discharge Manure Spreaders and Grassland Equipment.

With an impressive archive that spans 80 years, Tom Teagle was one of Cornwall’s foremost inventors whose natural talent started the company in 1937. Early products included horse drawn Tipcarts, Potato planters, fertiliser spreaders, hedge trimmers, concrete mixers and even a 49cc two-stroke cyclemotor.

Advances in technology have transformed how the agricultural sector operates today. Teagle has maintained their reputation for innovation by constantly reacting to the needs of its customers through an impressive commitment to product development. A long-standing reputation for quality, reliability and after sales support ensure that customers return again and again to Teagle.

The company now has around 160 team members, with all manufacturing based at their site near St Agnes in Cornwall. Consistent investment in skills, plant and facilities underpins an ethos of continuous improvement.

Teagle Machinery remains a family business with strong core values, links within the community, an established team of sales managers and a committed network of dealers and distributors, which results in a strong share in both UK and Export markets.

In recent years an ambitious growth strategy has focussed on developing Export markets and they now have customers in more than 50 counties worldwide with exports now representing around 50% of total sales.
