Cornish Sea Salt is a British sea salt producer based on the Cornish coast. Their sea salt is hand‑harvested from the Grade A waters of the Celtic Sea, just metres from the shoreline, in an area famous for its clean waters and unique coastal geology.
Location is what makes their salt different. The sea that surrounds Cornwall holds up to 82 naturally occurring sea minerals, including magnesium, calcium and potassium. These minerals give the salt a deeper, more rounded flavour and allow for a naturally lower sodium content. Rather than simply adding saltiness, Cornish Sea Salt enhances the natural flavours of ingredients.
Cornish Sea Salt combines traditional salt‑making methods with modern, sustainable technology to carefully produce crystals and flakes. Sustainability is central to their process, with solar energy used to power the salt house and a strong focus on responsible production.
Alongside their core sea salt range, they also create a selection of premium seasoning blends, using gourmet ingredients sourced from around the world and blended with Cornish Sea Salt. Today, Cornish Sea Salt is used by chefs, retailers and home cooks and is enjoyed in over 38 countries worldwide.
