Cockwells

Cockwells design and custom-build superyacht tenders and motor yachts of the highest quality for 21st century leisure and commerce.

From humble beginnings as a small, family-run boatbuilding company, Cockwells has grown to employ over 150 skilled professionals across two sites on the outskirts of Falmouth, crafting exceptional boats for a highly discerning global clientele.

Cockwells designs and builds two distinctive ranges of semi-production boats – classically styled Duchy Motor Launches and rugged Hardy Motor Yachts.

Alongside these, Cockwells specialises in crafting luxurious custom tenders that are meticulously built for some of the world’s most prestigious superyachts.

The specialist team are as passionate about the artisan skills of the shipwright as they are about cutting-edge advances in engineering and electronics. The care and attention to detail invested in all aspects of our work is evident in the quality of the boats that they take immense pride in building.

The company also runs a first-class apprenticeship scheme in conjunction with Cornwall Marine Network, offering a comprehensive training programme for the next generation of highly skilled, boat manufacturing talent.

A quarter of a century’s boatbuilding experience underpins a bright new era in which technological innovation, ingenious design and modern materials combine with exquisite craftsmanship to push the boundaries of the possible, and guarantee outstanding performance, luxury and longevity.

Whatever the specifications, Cockwells will design and manufacture a boat that complements its unique requirements and meets exacting standards – without compromise.
